Hi! I
am David Johnston. I have a commitment to my community and
am proud to serve on your board of directors. I am the
immediate Past President of Wasilla Rotary Club. During the
last year, Wasilla Rotary showed a 10% increase in
membership and won numerous awards for service projects.
Over the past several years I have also been a member or
asset to many health-care Boards. I am actively involved and
engaged in our business community and am an advocate for
increasing business relations between non-profit and for
profit organizations. A passion of mine is assisting
individuals experiencing special healthcare needs. I enjoy
many sports and social activities including; running,
hiking, bicycling, baseball, football, smiling, lounging in
the sun, eating good food and drinking cold beer. I believe
in family first and my son David Jr. is the light in my
life. I am ready to serve and look forward to getting to
know each of you!

IFOTOU/Tim Berberich Photography
Hi, My name is Jessica McGill-Berberich. I have
been Co/Owner of IFOTOU/Tim Berberich Photography with my
husband, Tim Berberich, since 1992. I have been part of the
Greater Wasilla Chamber of Commerce since February 2009. I
embraced it with my heart immediately. I love our Chamber. I
have a deep desire to see it thrive and be fiscally sound. I
enjoy being on the Board of the Chamber, where I can bring
my support, fund raising skills, and enthusiasm to the
position. I am impartial, discerning, and fair when I am in
the position of decision making. I have held position
facilitating small groups and as Executive Director of a
Victim’s rights organization. I managed a Symphony that we
kept financially sound during labor dispute. I understand
the needs of small business. I have lived in the valley for
over 18 years. My family lives here too and I am committed
to our valley, city, and commerce here.
Quentin
Algood - Secretary
ITS Alaska Computer Services
Born in Fairbanks long before it had a public
transportation system or pizza delivery, I’m a life long
Alaskan who has never lived anywhere else. My husband of 25
years and I relocated to Wasilla in 1998, seeking a
small-town atmosphere, a great school system and just the
right amount of big city convenience. You can find me and my
company quietly behind the scenes of many of the Chamber’s
fundraising events by donating web hosting, website
development and e-commerce solutions for Iditarod Days and
Murder on the Train. Being fanatically detail oriented, the
child of an UAA English Professor, and a middle-aged geek,
gives me the ideal qualifications to be a great Secretary
for the GWCC!
