Kelly Larson, Director at Large

Kelly Larson is a long-time Valley resident. She began working as a teenager as a monster truck show coordinator at the Alaska State Fair and returned to the Fair in 2010 to work in the marketing department.

Kelly is currently the Director of Community and Corporate Partnerships for the Alaska State Fair. She has extensive experience in development, public affairs, marketing and communications, social media, management, and sponsorship.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in business management and is pursuing her master’s degree in the same field. She is a graduate of the Institute of Fair Management and holds the distinction of Certified Fair Executive.

She is also a graduate of the Institute of Venue Management. She is also a Rotarian with the Rotary Club of Palmer and past District Public Image Chair and President-elect Training Facilitator (PETS).

Kelly’s favorite part of her job is working with the talented staff at the Fair to build memories and make people happy.
