The Greater Wasilla Chamber of Commerce gathered local business leaders, entrepreneurs, and community advocates at Everett’s in Wasilla for its Annual Membership Meeting & Member Awards Dinner. The evening celebrated a year of growth, achievement, and unwavering commitment to the local economy, recognizing outstanding businesses and individuals who have made a significant impact in the Mat-Su region.
The Chamber proudly honored 19 milestone membership anniversaries, including three distinguished members—MTA, Wasilla Area Seniors Inc., and Enstar Natural Gas—who have been part of the Chamber for 35 years. Their long-standing dedication reflects the strength of Wasilla’s business community and the Chamber’s role in fostering economic vitality.
A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the 2025 Greater Wasilla Chamber of Commerce Member Awards, recognizing excellence across multiple categories:

- Large Business of the Year: Global Federal Credit Union
- Non-Profit of the Year: LINKS Resource Center
- New Member of the Year: Revel Treks & Tours
- Outstanding Chamber Member: Jackie Kenshalo
- Chair’s Award: Destiny O’Daniel
- Bert Cottle Community Champion Award: Wasilla Police Department
