As the business voice of the Greater Wasilla area, the Chamber’s strength lies in the leadership and dedication of our volunteer Board. Each year, a slate of new Directors is elected by the membership to serve three-year terms and help guide the organization forward.

Why Serve on the Board?
Chamber Board service is more than a title — it’s a commitment to advocacy, collaboration, and the economic vitality of our region. As a Director, you will:
- Represent the business community and advocate for pro-growth policies and initiatives.
- Provide strategic leadership on Chamber programs, partnerships, and priorities.
- Collaborate with other business leaders to strengthen engagement and member value.
- Support events and initiatives that promote visibility, economic opportunity, and regional development.
Board Member Expectations
- Be a member in good standing with the Chamber.
- Commit to a three-year term (January 2026–December 2028).
- Attend quarterly board meetings and actively participate in Chamber events.
- Serve as a Chamber ambassador and advocate for local business success.
