The Greater Wasilla Chamber of Commerce was proud to host the Mat-Su Spring Economic Summit, bringing together business leaders, elected officials, and community stakeholders for two days of insight, collaboration, and forward-focused conversation. The 2026 Mat-Su Spring Economic Summit was presented by the Mat-Su Health Foundation.
This year’s Summit once again demonstrated the power of partnership, as we joined with the City of Wasilla and Matanuska-Susitna Borough to provide a comprehensive look at the opportunities and challenges shaping our region’s economic future.
Attendees heard from a dynamic lineup of speakers who shared updates and perspectives on key topics including economic development, infrastructure, workforce needs, and regional growth. The conversations throughout the event highlighted both the strength of our local economy and the importance of continued collaboration to support sustainable progress.
The second day’s tour provided a valuable, on-the-ground look at developments and economic drivers across the Valley, giving participants a deeper understanding of the growth and investment happening throughout our community.
Beyond the presentations, one of the most impactful aspects of the Summit was the opportunity to connect. Bringing together leaders from across sectors creates space for meaningful dialogue, new partnerships, and shared vision—something the Chamber is proud to facilitate.
